the community. We offer you a combination of a tourism package and
volunteer program experience. We have contact with
several organizations (social, education, health and nature projects) in
which you can help as a volunteer. They will meet indigenous populations

Day 1: Arrival to Guatemala -BLD You will be welcomed
Tropical Adventures, transferred to your hotel in Guatemala City. Night at
the hotel.
Day 2: Pacaya Volcano -
Antigua -BLD Breakfast at
the hotel and check out. Transfer to the Pacaya volcano
where we will climb all the way to the top in about 2.5 ½
hours and witness a beautiful landscape (Soft hike)
box lunch on the top of the volcano. Transfer to Antigua, meeting with
your familiy. Diner and night with your host
familiy.
Day 3: Antigua
-BLD Breakfast. -Visit
of the Antigua city - The Spanish Colonial style permeates every part of
the town: its houses, churches, squares, parks and ruins, also its
traditions and folklore as well. Antigua is a city of charm and color
where you can see and buy an overwhelming variety of attractive, handmade
products that honor the traditions of generations of artisans -

Day 4: Antigua - Lago Atitlan
-BLD Breakfast – 8h This
morning we will visit an educative center of coffee’s conversion, from the
cultivation to the tasting, then an interpretation center of the Mayan’s
culture – Lunch – PM We will go in search of the Altiplano’s high
plateaus,'' Atitlan Lake''. Supper and overnight in Panajachel.

Day 5: Lago
Atitlan -BLD Breakfast - Cruise on one
of the most beautiful lake in the world with greenish blue water. First we
will stop over at Santiago Atitlán, to discover a very picturesque little
Indian village. Visit of the village and the market. – Suite of our visit
by boat for a bathing into
the lake. – Lunch – Continuation by boat to a reserve. Excursion on path
and suspension bridges, observation of the subtropical forest, ape
spiders, coatis, waterfall – Free time inside the market - Night at
Pnanajachel. Optional: Canopy

Day 6: Panajachel –
Chichicastenango
– Antigua -BLD
Breakfast- Transfer to
Chichicastenango where you will admire the biggest handicraft market of
all Guatemala, you will be able to purchase hand made clothing and
articles, local pottery, textiles and many other objects that will be the
perfect souvenirs. Excursion to the sacred hill of Pascual
Abaj, where we will witness a mayan ceremony -Lunch- Transfer to
Antigua. Diner and night with your host
familiy.
Day 7: Antigua
-BLD Breakfast- Today, documentary
and panel with subject – PM Woodwork: production of school desks, and/or
tables and/or wood games, for an infantile institution in need. Meals and
overnight stay in host family.
Day 8: Antigua
-BLD Breakfast- This
morning we will make “piñatas” with paper, for the local deprived young
people. In the afternoon, visit the hand-made production elaborated from
Mayans women’s
cooperative. Meals and overnight stay in
host family.
Day 9: Antigua
-BLD Breakfast- Meeting with the
children of a local hospital, participation to different daily works of
the institution, for example: animate the deficient children with games,
make beds, serve the meals, etc...
Day 10: Antigua - Guatemala
City -BLD Breakfast-
Community service in a ethnic tribe, we will take part to
agriculture works, class-room’s renovation, wall painting,
games whith children...We will take the opportunity to offer them
“piñatas” that we made before,
Day 11 Hotel –
Airport Breakfast- Transfer to the
airport for your international flight.
